Planning Monitoring and Information Management Officers : HERD International
HERD International is supporting a nutrition programme in 17 districts (Panchthar, Khotang, Saptari, Dhanusa, Mahottari, Rautahat, Parsa, Nawalparasi, Kapilvastu, Bardiya, Jumla, Kalikot, Dadeldhura, Baitadi, Bajhang, Bajura and Accham) and establishing a Nutrition Surveillance System in 2 districts (Kapilvastu and Achham). For this project, HERD International is seeking various district based positions for the duration of 1.5 years with possibility of extension.
Coordinate and support the information section of the DCC to update nutrition information in DPMAS at local levels, involving health, education, WASH, agriculture, women and children development and NGOs
Support VDC in nutrition related reporting and preparing the progress report in every trimester
Generate necessary evidences for review of the annual as well as periodic plans related to nutrition and food security.
Liaise with the line agencies and DDC to ensure the M&E framework and plan is aligned with the MSNP
Facilitation of the VDC level plans and its implementation
Track progress on the implementation of the multi-sectoral nutrition and food security planning framework in districts using a database
Provide data on nutrition and food security in bottom up planning and in preparation of annual plan and periodic plan
Ensure the alignment of the communication plans of the VDC/DDC and line agencies with the Multi-Sector Advocacy and Communication Strategy
Process Documentation: Document the activities processes, challenges faced, mitigating measures adopted and lessons learnt: prepare minutes regularly update the information system
Position Summary :
- Planning Monitoring and Information Management Officers (17) Preferred Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Science, Nutrition, Food Technology with atleast 2 year of experience or minimum Bachelor’s degree in similar areas with at least 3 years of demonstrable experience in monitoring and evaluation projects.
- The candidate should bear excellent communication, documentation and data management skills.
- Proficiency in the usage of computers and office software packages and experience in handling web based data and information management systems is required.
